The activity of ”LE ALPI” hotel traces back to the thirties; at that time it was known as "locanda delle Alpi" (the Alpi Inn).
In the fifties the hotel was relocated to its present site due to the construction of the characteristic artificial lake of Vagli, where the small village of Fabbrica lies submerged beneath the lake waters. It is also renowned as the "ghost town" because of the appearance of its remains when they emerge from the waters every time the lake is drained.
The hotel business has been managed since the fifties by the same family and is still characterized by a cordial and skilled family management.
